LOUISVILLE , KY - The company long known for its technological contributions
to baseball and softball equipment now offers cutting-edge and state-of-the-art
sports apparel for men and women. The latest product line from Louisville
Slugger® includes the DiamondFit design that gives players a unique union of fit,
fashion and function while on the playing field.
All of the Louisville Slugger Performance Apparel is designed with 100 percent
moisture management in mind. From formfitting tops to pregame pullovers, from
sliding shorts to sports bras and from nylon warm up suits to hooded pullovers,
the Louisville Slugger Performance Apparel with DiamondFit design will have
fans and opponents taking note.
Leading off the lineup for the 2008 line of Peformance Apparel are several
DiamondFit garments designed to make ballplayers perform and look like a pro.
The DiamondFit short- and long-sleeve compression shirts feature 100 percent
moisture management with flatrock stitching and antimicrobial fabric with odorresistant
Scentcheck® technology. Both come in sizes S to XXL and in royal,
scarlet, navy, black or white colors.
Louisville Slugger’s DiamondFit Sliding Shorts also come with the 100 percent
moisture management design and the advanced, Xtra-Dri® Scentcheck
technology. The men’s shorts come with a cup pocket, lightweight pad and
feature a compression fit. They are available in white and sizes S-XXL.
The women’s sliding shorts feature a lightweight pad, slender cut and Xtra-Dri
Scentcheck technology. The low rider waist with three-inch inseam and
compression fashion fit provide maximum protection with optimal style. The
shorts are available in scarlet, pink, royal, navy, black and white in girls’ sizes SXL
and women’s sizes S-XXL. The women’s Low Rider Sliding Shorts feature a
slender lightweight pad, a low rider waist with three-inch inseam and a
compression fashion fit with a slender cut.
Louisville Slugger’s DiamondFit pregame garments include the long- and shortsleeve
loose fit tees. The moisture management shirts come in black, white,
gray, navy, royal, and scarlet colors and include the TPX® logo on the left sleeve
with the oval Louisville Slugger logo on the back of the neck. Both long and short
sleeve shirts come in men’s sizes S-XXL. The short-sleeve shirt is also available
in youth sizes S-XL.
The 2008 line of Performance Apparel also features a ¼ Zip Cage Pullover made
from 100 percent nylon micro ripstop. The stand-up collar and upper body back
include interior mesh. Made with Raglan sleeves and a back vent, the Cage
Pullover includes an open bottom with drawstring. The TPX logo is featured on
the left sleeve while the oval Louisville Slugger logo rests on the back of the
neck. The pullover is available in youth sizes S-XL and men’s sizes S-XXL. All
sizes come in black, navy, scarlet and royal colors.
Rounding out the new line of Performance Apparel is the Heavyweight Fleece
Hooded Pullover. Made in an 80/20 cotton/polyester blend, the pullover includes
a drawstring hood with grey hood lining and stripes, rib knit cuffs and waist and a
front pouch pocket. It comes in men’s sizes S-XXL and in athletic gray and navy
colors.
